I’m told that all this snow elevates North America’s albedo.

So I guess we can expect quite the Baby Boom in nine months!

I guess people will do just anything to keep warm!

Just because there is more snow in the lower 48, doesn’t mean there is more snow everywhere. up here in Alaska, we’ve had the warmest January on record with snow loss and less albedo.

    Record warmth and confused plants!

Let me reflect on that issue . . .

It took me hours to figure out the “-ido, hee hee hee!” “joke”.

Here’s a fun weather fact: on the morning of Jan. 29, there was snow reported on the ground in 49 states. Which state was snow free? Nope, not Florida (there was snow in the extreme western panhandle). Not Hawaii (there was snow way high up in the mountains). There was snow reported in all the Gulf Coast states, in far northern Texas, in all the Atlantic Coast states, and in the higher elevations of all the western states. Yes, there was snow in Alaska despite their record warmth. Give up? The snow free state was Missouri (but not for long, there’s more snow coming this weekend):
