This is clever!

I’m a long-time reader and a big fan. I’ve emailed you a couple of times in the past. I just came across this and it seems like the kind of thing that’s right up your alley:

http://thekronies.com/

It’s a website featuring several YouTube videos for a fictional line of action figures representing the “konnected” corporate interest groups that really run the show. There’s Kaptain Korn (agriculture), Parts & Labor (autos), Bankor (banks), Ariel Styker (military-industrial complex), and Big G (government). The production is very well done, and in my opinion, hilarious.

Also, the Kronies are “from Chimera!” They have their own website too:

http://chimeraincorporated.com/

I like this idea!  The Byzantine complexity of our crony capitalist system is rather reminiscent of the unbelievably elaborate mythos created by Marvel or the Star Wars universe.   Turn them into action figures and they might actually become comprehensible.  They might even become fun!
