This is all Augustine’s fault!

A Colorado judge seems to think Augustine would think traditional marriage is unjust. Obviously this is the fault of Augustine, who failed to express himself clearly. Also, the Council of Nicaea. Ever since the Council, things have all been terrible and there’s no hope. Why can’t we get back to the way it was with Jesus and Paul, who were never ever hard to understand?

    Augustine taught that women were incomplete versions of men, the conduit thanks to their weakness through which men were tempted to sin, and that only by becoming more like men would they saved. Do you really believe that?

    Most of what went wrong in Western Civilization was Augustine’s fault, so why not one more thing.
