Prayer Requests

Prayer Requests June 30, 2015

Wenatchee is on the other side of the Cascades from Seattle, about a hundred miles from here.   It’s a very dry area that, ironically, sits on the Columbia.  We have several dear friends who live there, so please pray that God our Father send rain and turn the winds away from the town through Christ our Lord.  Mother Mary, pray for Wenatchee!

Another reader writes:

Urgent prayer request: My niece, Olivia, is 16 and has osteosarcoma, which has spread to her lung. She has decided no more chemotherapy or treatment. Without treatments, doctors are giving her six months.

Father, grant her your gracious healing in body, soul, and spirit or, if not, the grace of a happy death through Christ our Lord.  Mother Mary, St. Luke, her guardian angel, and St. Peregrine, pray for her.

And another writes:

Can you post another prayer request for Kreed, please? He is, thank God, awake and breathing after two days on the ventilator. He used his speech device to communicate once yesterday, he can follow commands and sat in a chair for a moment, but now he’s not speaking through the device anymore and his eyes do not focus. He’s having physical therapy and more tests to see what’s wrong. Obviously since Kreed has 9 different serious chronic illnesses, it’ll be difficult to figure out what went on and find a treatment. I will keep updating as things change.

Father, hear our continuing prayer for Kreed through your Son Jesus Christ. Mother Mary and St. Luke, pray for him and all who love him!
