Prayer Requests/Praise Reports June 1, 2015

A reader writes:

Good day! It’s been some weeks, and I thought I should give some updates. The runaway sister has sent an email a few days after I requested for prayers. Apparently she needs “time to think.” For what, I don’t know. She hasn’t mentioned where she is, and she hasn’t mentioned her son. The child is currently staying with the other sister, who in the turmoil of what has happened has become resentful towards him. There has been talk of putting him up for adoption, which has caused my colleague even more pain and distress. Lately, she seems to have relented a bit, however, so my coworker and I are cautiously happy. Prayers are still much needed though, and I would greatly appreciate any that you (and your readers, should you choose to post this) may spare.

This colleague of mine is quite a comic book purist, by the way, and I showed him the Avengers Kung Fu video you posted. He was suitably horrified, so I thank you twice over! 😀

God bless you and yours.

Father, thank you for hearing our prayer. Please carry things through to completion! We ask this through Christ our Lord. Mother Mary and St. Joseph, pray for this intention.

Father, hear our prayer. Mother Mary and St. Joseph, pray for my reader. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
