I have cool friends

One of them, Angela Fernandes, writes scripts and copy for a game and toy company. So, f’rinstance, she wrote the script for the Disney Princess Magical Tiara Adventures Game. (I played with it. It’s fun! And a real work out for little wiggle worm girls with a ton of energy to burn off.)

Anyway, she writes:

Those of you interested in space adventures might want to take a look at Mission Critical: Mars.

I worked on the story and dialogue for this boardgame, in which you work with several of your friends on board a spaceship to navigate successfully through deep space and safely land on Mars.

With the help of a talking ship’s computer, you will maneuver through asteroid belts, suit up to spacewalk, put out deadly fires onboard, repair radio antennas, and send crucial communications back to Earth.

Ray Bradbury, eat your heart out. This one’s for you.
