Today is my daughter Evie Peoples‘ 21st birthday. Four weeks ago, I attended a U2 concert with my two sons in Cleveland. Through a series of serendipitous circumstances, I was able to send a message to the band through one of their workers, who I met on Megabus to Chicago. I told them how much the performance meant to me in light of Evie’s death. The first concert I ever took her to was U2 in Cardiff for her 13th birthday, and hearing them play in Cleveland really lifted me up.
