[VIDEO] Work for the night is coming

Yet another entry in the hymns about work you can sing in worship that we’ve been collecting here on the channel (previous entries can be found here and here.)   The hymn is “Work for the night is coming;” the soloist, surprisingly (and beautifully!), is former editor of Christianity Today David Neff, who prepared this video to help his church choir rehearse (but is OK with the fact that it wandered onto the Internet. We checked.)

More on the history of the hymn can be found here.  Even more, and an organ performance of it, are here.
