Evangelical Theological Society: Economic Justice session

November 19, 2014 @ 4:45 pm - 6:00 pm

$70 – $100

For those attending the Evangelical Theological Society meeting, here is an opportunity to discuss faith, work and economics:

Come hear Darrell Bock and Anthony Bradley address “Economic Justice and the Mission of the Church” at this year’s meeting of the Evangelical Theological Society!  Lunch is free, and so is the exchange of ideas in this interdisciplinary dialogue. The luncheon is Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 11:45 – 1:00 p.m. in the Tiki Pavilion.

Bock is a senior research professor of New Testament studies and the executive director of cultural engagement at the Hendricks Center at Dallas Theological Seminary. Bradley is an associate professor of theology and ethics at The King’s College and a research fellow at the Acton Institute; he appears in the“justice” episode of the new video series, “For the Life of the World.” Both speakers have published numerous highly acclaimed books.

This event is sponsored by the Oikonomia Network, a theological learning community dedicated to connecting pastors and the local church to work and the economy.

Tell your friends! We look forward to seeing you there.
