Thy Kingdom Come

Here’s a really good review of The Kingdom. I’m not surprised by anything in the review, but I am curious about how Muslim women are portrayed in the film; I remember seeing a sloppily-placed cut of a Saudi niqabi somewhere in the commercial trailer.

Has anyone wasted any money on this film? If you did, what did you think of the inclusion (or exclusion) of Muslim women in the movie?

I have seen the “the kingdom” and I honestly do not really remember muslim women really being in it at all…oh except for when they were showing the making of the explosive jackets that the suicide bombers were going to wear and at the very end of the movie where a woman was holding her daughter, she ended up being the daughter of the muslim man who organized all of the bombings that occurred withing the walls of the simulated U.S.Basically, they are really only shown in a negative light.
