I’ve been reading Muslimah Media blog for a while now (it had a few mentions on theFWord.org.uk a couple of months ago) and I’m really impressed with the content and your critiques.

I was listening to the radio today and two programs jumped out at me. The first show was about “… identical twins, Elizabeth and Caroline, talk to Anna Scott-Brown about their choices to follow two very different faiths – Islam and Christianity. They discuss their strongly-held but separate beliefs, and how this affects their relationship within the family. As their own lives unfold, they also have to confront their mother’s terminal illness and come to terms with what her death will mean to them.”

Elizabeth wears hijab and (although I’m sure this won’t be breaking news to readers of this blog) I thought it was very moving what she had to say about how people treated her pre- and post-9/11.

The second program is an interview with the school teacher who was arrested in Sudan after naming her class’ teddy bear Mohammed.

I thought I’d pass the links along to you:

Keep up the good work. I always recommend this site to anyone – anyone! – who asks for good blogs to read.
