Hezbollah are just fascinating. Whether you agree with them or not, its hard to ignore the huge impact they have had in Lebanese politics and social life. They have brought one of the most marginalised groups- Shia women- in Lebanonon into the public sphere. They do have women in senior positions and as part of their media wing too.
Lara Deeb's book was great, and I am looking forward to watching the documentary. The piece on Hezbollah women on Al Jazeera was also really interesting.
