In light of all of the news stories that have been circulating – and how difficult it must be for many of our own wounded members who have been affected by the criminal travesties of sexual assault to read through the articles, relive some of their own experiences and often, see very hurtful comments (even if unintentional): I thought it might be appropriate to glean from the wisdom of one of our national treasures, Maya Angelou.  One who knew the pain of abuse all too well and has honored us all with her grace, strength and beauty.
