God emptied himself. Theologically it is called "kenosis". God abandoned himself and died to himself on the cross. Christmas says that God desolated the God of Beyond and became Emmanuel, God with us. Easter seals the deal and slammed the door shut to the transcendent God of Beyond. Some talk about the Christ principal. I get it. If you've followed my z-theory at all, you will understand that I see the story of the incarnation as a powerful metaphor that attempts to describe reality. It resonates with me. I was talking with an acquaintance today who is gay. I was telling him about my upcoming weekend in Dallas, speaking at Northaven United Methodist Church in Dallas Texas. i want to be 24/7

I want to contribute substantially to the theological and philosophical, as well as ecclesiological conversation. I don't have the time to study and write as I should (I have a full time job as an English teacher). My writing is not as substantial as it used to be. Yes, another startup. I've planted other churches before. So, here are some of my thoughts about soon starting another church community: Sunday night maybe?
