We don’t really focus on resolutions in our family. Some of us may make plans to exercise more or do more, there’s definitely a little of that. However, the focus is really more on growing and drawing closer to God. When we do that, I think things fall into place the way they should. For our family, that has a lot to do with getting things moving in the right direction for us. All of the pieces start falling into place when we keep our focus on our faith.

    all well and good. i’d be fine with this if i didn’t already know ‘drawing closer to god’ means, for her, becoming ever more submissive to a lifestyle that is slowly killing her.

    I suppose she hopes this will produce that 20th child. I imagine the ratings on the TV show have dropped dramatically now that she’s no longer popping out a baby a year.

    Christians should not focus on their faith. That is still a focus on them and their habits and “Christian culture”. They should focus on God.
