Quoting Quiverfull: Not a Coincidence?

by Michelle Duggar on The Today Show -August 3, 2010

“When we look at Josie — we were just talking about it this morning — and I thought, even knowing that we went through the challenge that we did, we would do it again,” the supermom told TODAY’s Meredith Vieira Tuesday from the family home in Springdale, Ark.

“The precious life that we see here is not a coincidence,” she added. “I just know that it is a miracle. I don’t take that for granted. I know that God is the one who gives life, and I’m just so grateful and thankful. We would welcome another if He saw fit, but we’ll wait and see.”

It is a miracle that Josie lived and is fairly healthy. Dont push your luck.

NO MORE DUGGAR BABIES!!! (Ok, I am aware theres a new grandchild on the way, but Michelle shouldnt have any more, I dont think she stands any chance of having a live, somewhat full term birth…and she neglects the ones she has)

Just STOP, nature is trying to tell you something, and that something is YOUR BODY IS FUCKED. The number of times she has had a cerclage stitch through her cervix to prevent spontaneous abortion because it just doesn’t work the way it should anymore…… If I regularly needed someone to ram a wide bore needle through my cervix and put a heavy duty suture in to hold a pregnancy, I WOULD’NT GET PREGNANT.

Sigh. Mrs. Duggar, it is perfectly respectable to enjoy the children you already have. Why must you pine for hypothetical children who haven’t even been conceived? You say you are grateful, but you seem so greedy in that 19 is not enough.

    Where did you hear this?
