Quoting Quiverfull: Women Leaving Workforce Not Missed? February 24, 2017

Editor’s note: For several weeks now Nancy has been on an pretty significant anti-feminist tear, claiming wombs dry up when you work outside the home, claiming that feminists throw away β€˜God’s glory’ when they use birth control and on and on ad naseum. How presumptuous of her to assume if all women gave up their jobs no one would miss them! She is living in a bubble of privilege and does not even realize it. It’s not on a whim that most women work, it is out of sheer financial necessity for most.

β€œWomen can give up their jobs as clerks, engineers, doctors, etc., and other people will step in, and the world will go as smoothly as before . . . not so with mothering. When we leave this job, the world does not go on as before. It falters and begins to lose way.”

QUOTING QUIVERFULL is a regular feature of NLQ – we present the actual words of noted Quiverfull leaders, cultural enforcers and those that seek to keep women submitted to men and ask our readers: What do you think? Agree? Disagree? This is the place to state your opinion. Please, let’s keep it respectful – but at the same time, we encourage readers to examine the ideas of Quiverfull and Spiritual Abuse honestly and thoughtfully.
