Quoting Quiverfull: Non-Christian Grieving Mothers Cannot Heal? May 22, 2017

Editor’s note: We’ve not heard from Zsuzsanna Anderson in a long time. She’s been mostly quiet and not as toxic as usual, even if she is very wrong about stupid things like fruit sodas in Germany. Her husband Steven has been busy with losing it over another set of IFB pastors holding an Anti-Steven Anderson conference. She posted about her surviving twin from her TTTS high-risk pregnancy’s third birthday. It was sweet and interesting how they incorporated remembrance of the twin that did not survive into the day, right up until the moment she started making claims about non-believer grieving mothers. No, Zsu, mothers without the same faith as you don’t heal from their losses slower than you or anyone else. Healing is deeply personal and there is no time table.

Maybe you have wondered what it is like to only have one surviving twin. I can only speak to my own experience. The closest thing I can compare it to is what I imagine it would be like to lose one eye. I can still see with one eye, it is not near as bad as losing both eyes, not even half as bad – but I am always, always aware that I only have one left. I am thankful the boys are identical so I never have to wonder what Jachin would have looked like at any given age. Most of all, I am thankful not only for the promise of Heaven and one day seeing them both side by side, alive and well, but also for the peace of God in this life. I have seen other moms in twin loss groups online, and have had to leave them because it was too sad to see them struggle so. It is easy to guess which of the grieving moms know the Saviour, and which ones don’t. Those who don’t are consumed more and more by their grief and the eternal question, β€œWhy?” I am plagued by neither. I have my precious Boaz, and the knowledge that this life will pass in the blink of an eye and we shall meet again.

If you need a laugh or have a desire to throw up you should tune into Steven Anderson’s recent YouTube videos. Like this one on Mental Illness or Medical Care..

Here Steven tells his church that women seeking abortions and abortion providers need to be put to death.

QUOTING QUIVERFULL is a regular feature of NLQ – we present the actual words of noted Quiverfull leaders, cultural enforcers and those that seek to keep women submitted to men and ask our readers: What do you think? Please, let’s keep it respectful – but at the same time, we encourage readers to examine the ideas of Quiverfull and Spiritual Abuse honestly and thoughtfully.
