I Deny the Resurrection

For a couple of years now I’ve been trying to find some time to read some of what Peter Rollins is writing. I still haven’t gotten around to it, although I’m about to order his newest book. Here’s a little clip of his provocative style – let me just say that I love all things British, Scottish, and Irish – so I’m predisposed to think Rollins is brilliant. Plus he’s brilliant & a top notch thinker…

I saw him at the Worship in Crisis conference at U of C Spring 2010 and was also intrigued. He pushes buttons in a way that might overcorrect worship postures but is still helpful for getting down into the grit of human experience. But to what end? This question must be answered, where is the Good News? I need to read more of him to say much more.

Good book! I like his writing style. He carries the reader along through the argument.Funny, Insurrection is the first book of his I've read. Trying to make time for more.
