Monday Morning Confessional

I confess that I hate that Fifty Shades of Grey did so well at the box office. It seems to me like a step backward for women.

I confess that I think Kurt Busch’s ex-girlfriend was an assassin.

I confess that I sometimes act as offensive coordinator for my son while he’s playing Madden 2015. I call the plays for him & he executes.

I confess that I like Krispy Kreme donuts better than Dunkin’, but I go to DD quite often because it’s two blocks from my house.

I confess that I’m going to have to do something about my sugar intake. I feel like I’m headed for type II diabetes.

I confess that the sound of Billy Bob Thornton’s voice makes me laugh.

I confess that I’m trying to learn how to skateboard.

I confess that I was training to run 1/2 of the Brew to Brew (22 miles), until I pulled a calf muscle… skating.

I confess that I think you should buy Shrink and read it & come talk about it with me here on the blog.

I confess that Kristin and I watched the two National Treasure movies with our boys during winter break, and not once was I bothered by Nic Cage. I am probably never going to jump on the Nic Cage is a terrible actor bandwagon.

I confess that we finally got enough snow that I think I might have to shovel.

I confess that shoveling might have to wait, because I’m taking my youngest to breakfast. I confess that this will involve my least favorite thing… deciding where to go or what to do on a day off.

I confess that I spoke at the M15 convention last week & had a blast talking about Shrink.

I confess that I spoke at HCC yesterday and enjoyed every minute of the day.

I confess that I have always refused outside speaking engagements that are not in KC, but I think I’m going to start taking them when I can, especially if they can help me pay for braces.

I confess that I keep pitching articles to Relevant & they keep getting ignored or rejected. Does that make me irrelevant? (if you’ve read Shrink, you’ll know why that’s funny).

Okay, that’s enough confessing for me. Your turn…
