    A day to reflect on how badly some Christians are persecuted. Despite our differences, we have to admit that we have it pretty good in this country.

      I agree Bill – I think the situation that we are in is more like the frog in a pot story – they’ll keep turning up the heat slowly until we are all gone rather then the directed violence.

    I don’t understand why our government doesn’t speak out stronger on this. I do remember Pres Bush speaking on this a few times. Has anyone heard Pres Obama speak on this? I’m not saying he hasn’t, just that I tend to tune him out, so I may have missed it.

    Thank you for sharing Rebecca. What is considered “newsworthy” is such trivial meaningless information while our brothers and sisters around the world are being murdered – harassed – displaced and the silence from the media is deafening. Our Bible Study has been praying weekly and it is also in my daily prayers.
