Four Days

Four days.

That’s how long it took for the FBI to sift through the evidence and identify two suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing.

I read a story earlier, which I assume is true, that one of the bombing victims, Jeff Baumann, said “That’s the guy. He looked right at me,” when he was shown a photo of the one of the suspects. He described how the man placed a bag of explosives at his feet. Two and a half minutes later, the bag exploded.

Four days.

I am impressed and grateful for law enforcement that follows the evidence and investigates thoroughly. I don’t want them to find just someone, I want them to find the right ones.

Law enforcement searches for one of these suspects while I am writing this. The other suspect is dead. The suspected terrorists have added two more casualties to their list: One young police officer is dead and another is in critical condition. I have no doubt that they will find the suspect who is at large.

Four days.

The message here, for those who want to hear it, is Don’t mess with the USA.

If you see this man, call 1-800-CALL-FBI.

It has indeed been an impressive performance, under incredible pressure. They have done very well.

Seriously impressive work so far, as stated above by neenergyobserver, under incredible pressure. Suspect #2 WILL be caught, dead or alive. As much as an explanation is needed—I don’t think it will be given by suspect #2, because I don’t think he will allow himself to be taken alive.

Just as impressive are all the terrorist attacks that never happened because our FBI stopped them in their tracks. I thank God for the dedication and talents of the members that keep us safe under incredible odds and relentless efforts.

Not to take anything from the authorities, but this lot seem to have been total amateurs. Murderous amateurs, but amateurs. They seem to have been unprepared to have to run, they made a mess of their attempt at flight, and the survivor will certainly get caught or killed. It seems as though it never even occurred to them that the authorities might identify them at all. A trained IRA man would have been out of Boston, and probably out of America, before the wreckage had stopped smouldering.

Chechnyans. I’ve known ex Russian Military that have nothing good to say about this Islamic subgroup. It somehow doesn’t surprise me that a couple of young boys, brought up in that culture, did this.
