Scott, Caesar, Grant Lead Gospel/Christian GRAMMY Nominations December 6, 2016

Hillary Scott & The Scott Family, Shirley Caesar, and Natalie Grant lead the Grammy nominations for the Gospel/Contemporary Christian categories, scoring two nominations each for performance/song and album. Scott, a member of the country group Lady Antebellum, along with members of her family, released Love Remains last year, nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album, which featured the single “Thy Will,” nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song. Shirley Caesar’s Fill This House was nominated for Best Gospel Album and the single “It’s Alright, It’s OK” featuring Anthony Hamilton was nominated for Best Gospel Performance/Song. Natalie Grant’s song “King Of The World” also received a nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song from her album, Be One, nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album.

Other Grammy nominations for the Christian and Gospel category include Kirk Franklin, Crowder, the Gaither Vocal Band, Joey & Rory, The Isaacs, Tamela Mann, Hezekiah Walker, Natalie Grant, and Hillsong Young and Free. For the full list of nominations, click here.

The 59th Annual Grammys will air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Feb. 12, at 8 p.m. ET., on CBS.
