The Premise of Intelligent Design is Bankrupt

Not everyone who reads the title of this post will agree with it immediately. But via P. Z. Myers I learned that it is now a simple matter of indisputable fact in at least one sense: According to the National Center for Science Education, the company that produced the movie Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed, Premise Media Holdings, has filed for bankruptcy.

The NCSE created a web site addressing some of the movie’s claims.

Do you think then that God creates though unintelligent necessity? I think it is a wonder comment on existence that it requires no “designer” it is inherently the way things occur, its design, was never created, but a fundamental part of existence. If the definition of God is, the answer to the question why is there existence, Then God is eternal, timeless, and uncreated and unchangeable, and so are all God’s ways. It would seem the decision making intellect we think of as personality would be alien to that .
