    Really appreciated this review. Thank you. I’ve long been interested in the question of whether any Gnostic themes can be traced back to the historical Jesus (for the record, I’m hopeful but doubtful). Thanks to your review, though, I’m not going to read this book, as I came away from the review unimpressed with either the depth of insight or lack of bias of the book’s author.
