This annual performance features the ensembles of the Butler School of Music Choral Department–Chorale, Spectra, University Choir and Chamber Singers—performing selected works from four centuries of choral repertoire spanning four continents. This year’s Spring Choral Concert will also feature the current graduate choral conducting students leading selected works for the Chorale, and a performance of Benjamin Britten’s haunting Cantata Misericordium, a musical telling of the biblical parable of the Good Samaritan.
