Artist Talks about the Influence of Scientology in her Life

Artist Talks about the Influence of Scientology in her Life May 4, 2014

Gracia Bennish is an artist and photographer and a longterm Scientologist, featured this week in the Houston Chronicle blog, in which she says:

“I would say one would be very pleasantly surprised to experience the ability to vastly increase one’s perceptions. For myself, I have a far greater ability to sense, feel, and see things, especially important to an artist. It’s like looking at the world with a super wide-angle lens with the colors turned up vibrantly.

“Additionally, I would include an increased ability to enjoy the spirit of play. I am sure you can recall how it was when young, one couldn’t wait to get going, run fast, be exuberant, shout, sing, and dance or just sit quietly looking in awe at the animated antics of an insect in the grass. That love of life can be restored and heightened. It makes life exciting and increases one’s desire to create.”

Bennish is a Scientology Volunteer Ministers and a human rights advocate who has been featured in the Scientology Newsroom:

“In a unique meld of art and activism, Gracia Bennish leaves her mark in unexpected places.

A true citizen of the world, Bennish, who lives with husband Garry in Clearwater, Florida, was born and raised in Detroit, has lived in the United States, Australia, Europe and Mexico, and has worked or volunteered in Haiti, Baghdad, Myanmar, Africa, Thailand, Cuba and Colombia.”
