Thoughts on scientology

by Nick Broadhurst I often wonder if people get confused on the difference between philosophy and religion when it comes to Scientology. Is Scientology a religion or philosophy, or, are all religions philosophies? These are my thoughts just now. Scientology is most definitely a religion, and it is most definitely a philosophy. A religion has two major categories, the revealed religion – Judaism, Christianity, Islam for example; and the natural religion. While the first category of … [Read more...]

Even Babies Need Acknowledgements

The very same basics that are used with adults to communicate with other adults absolutely apply to babies as well, a fantastic example of such L. Question: Who wears the pants?

Here is a question I got on my blog about Scientology and my answers. At first sight it may not seem like a question related to the religion, but it was attempting to get an understanding of the culture around the religion. "When my water broke, I was 35 1/2 weeks along. My hospital bags were not even packed-nothing was prepared." To make matters … [Read more...]

Ron Hubbard discovered that drugs are a primary block to spiritual progress.  Scientologists are very active in what is known as "demand reduction"--educating youth on the truth about drugs, so they decide to live drug-free lives. Many American Scientologists are active in Red Ribbon Week.   Here is a brief statement of the history and purpose of the program: Red … [Read more...]
