Labor Day: Acknowledging the Contribution of Workers

Labor Day is  observed in America  the first Monday of September to celebrate the economic and social contributions of workers.  When it was first initiated at the end of the 19th century, the Industrial Revolution was pulling to a close and workers' rights were largely ignored.
