Double Amputee Army Vet to Compete on Dancing With the Stars

Double Amputee Army Vet to Compete on Dancing With the Stars February 26, 2015

Of all the new competitors for Dancing with the Stars, Noah Galloway may have the most inspiring story.

He signed up to serve his country in the Army in 2003. On his second deployment to Iraq, a roadside bomb cost him his left leg and most of his left arm – on Christmas Day.

He’s sacrificed a lot for all of us.

Instead of letting himself be depressed about what he’d lost, Sergeant Galloway decided to get back in shape. Now he competes in “hardcore physical events like Tough Mudder, Spartan events, and many 5k and 10k races.”

He’s also a fitness trainer and motivational speaker. There aren’t many excuses that would work with him as a coach!

No wonder that last year, Men’s Health called him “the Ultimate Guy.”

Dancing With the Stars should be a breeze compared to what he’s been through! Will you be voting for him this season?
