I Have to Sit Down

Aw, nuts. It’s our fourteenth wedding anniversary, I can’t find the wedding album to scan a picture in, and all the things I keep saying keep sounding stupid.
I love you, Damien, and I always will. (There, that sounded okay.)
Happy Anniversary! My husband and I have been married 15 years and I can’t find our wedding photos at all. I’ve searched and searched and can’t imagine what happened to them. Very upsetting too. We didn’t have a big wedding or anything at all. It was actually a private wedding in the church with two witnesses but my sister set up a reception at her house for a few family members afterwards. But those photos were so important to me, so I hope you find your album! Do something for yourselves for your anniversary minus the kids. We parents sacrifice EVERYTHING, year round for our kids. One day out of the year should be reserved entirely for grown-up stuff.
Happy anniversary, may you have many more years together!
That’s wonderful! Happy Anniversary! I hope you have the time (and energy) to go do something nice.
Happy Anniversary! My wife and I just hit 14 years on the 11th of October. We seem to be 4 kids behind you though, with a meager 5 children in our tribe. We both love your blog and it gets us through a lot of those parenting speed bumps with a good laugh. Keep up the good work!
Happy Anniversery to you both! We celebrated our 24th this year but it’s inspiring to see younger folks commiting to faith & family. Not easy these days. There’s a lovely song out there by Irish singer, Christy Moore called “The Voyage”. Look it up when you get a chance. It’s a great anniversary song about looking back at the beginning, and starting against so many odds.
Happy Anniversary! My wife and I celebrated our anniversary yesterday too (No. 8 for us). And by “celebrated” I mean we drank rum and cokes on the couch while watching TV and holding the baby.
