WHO BETTER TO PRESENT THE RAZZIE REDEEMER AWARD?
A nun. And not just any nun, but veteran film critic, Sister Rose Pacatte. The Razzies, who’s motto is “Own Your Bad,” felt Sr Rose would be the perfect choice to present their newest award, not just because of her award-winning journalistic background but because of her insight into the value of good filmmaking.
For 35 years, The Razzies have been pointing out many a film talents’ faux pas not with the intention of crushing careers but more in the vein of “hey, you can’t just get away with that!”
So in the spirit of delivering oneself from the depths of bad choices, Sr. Rose will be handing out The Razzie Redeemer Award to one of the lucky recipients: Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, Mike Myers, Kristen Stewart or Keanu Reeves on February 21, 8pm at The Montalbán in Hollywood where for the first time ever the public can attend.
