    Actually, on this basic subject, I’ve been reading a very good book lately – “The Faithful Executioner,” by Joel F. Harrington. It’s about an executioner who worked in Nuremburg in the late 1500s-early 1600s and about his personal memoirs. It’s a very interesting read to get into the mindset of the era, and why they did the things that they did.
