The Black Lives Matter crowd is quick to organize protests when a police shooting is caught on camera but never when it’s inner-city violence.

On Tuesday in Norfolk, Virginia, TJ Williams and two of his friends were hanging out in a car listening to music and smoking, minding their own business. The young man decided to start streaming video to Facebook not five minutes before someone began firing wildly — nearly 30 times — into the car, severely injuring the passengers. Williams’s phone drops inside the car and records for the next hour, capturing the people that rushed to help until paramedics and police officers arrived. Thankfully, two of the victims are doing better, however, one is still listed in critical condition.

But where are the protests for this senseless act of violence? Do these three black lives not matter? Are the only black lives worth standing up for the ones that are shot by cops?

Are there any celebrities willing to come forward and condemn this violence that happens constantly in the inner city? It’s been proven that racism plays no part in cops shooting black suspects. Very few cops shoot black people in any given year, but this shooting captured on video is the kind of thing that happens all the time across America and yet, the media, and the celebrities, and the BLM protesters turn away because they can’t peg it on racism.

What’s worse, the gunman that shot Williams and his friends has not been identified and is still on the loose. If he isn’t found, he’ll do this again. And still, there will be no one there to protest.

What a shame they can’t see their own hypocrisy.

Click here to watch the video that went live on Facebook of the shooting. It isn’t graphic, but it is disturbing. The shooting happens around the 5:30 mark. There are more pictures of the scene, including the bullet-riddled car at The Daily Mail.
