The following story is equal parts frustrating, ridiculous, and absolutely hilarious.

Duncan Lloyd is a city attorney in Philadelphia and recently got himself involved in a vandalism incident in which he and another man spray painted a childish anti-Trump message on a brand new grocery store that had just opened. That’s the frustrating part; a city employee taking part in something like this. And then to know they went to all of this trouble just to write “F*** Trump” on the side of a building? That’s just stupid. But what makes this so satisfying is the fact that security cameras captured every move they made! And there was no hiding for Lloyd who came to the party dressed to the nines: blue blazer, perfectly quaffed hipster scarf, and sipping on a glass of wine as he and his partner in crime strolled down the sidewalk.

At least his friend was wise enough to wear a hoodie and at least attempt to hide his identity. That’s probably why he was given the spray painting duties. Lloyd was just there to commemorate the midnight activities on his smartphone.

Mayor Jim Kenney said his employee made a “dumb mistake” and as of Thursday, still had a job.

“It’s still working out,” Kenney said. “It’s certainly hateful and inappropriate and unacceptable…but people are human beings, and they make mistakes, and it’s a dumb mistake. It’s hateful graffiti, hateful graffiti is never acceptable whether it’s a city employee or not.”

According to Philly.com, Lloyd has been with the Law Department since 2011 and makes just over $63,000 a year. His superiors say he is cooperating with the police and his fate is still being decided upon after a thorough investigation. The damage to the market is estimated between $3,000 and $10,000.

But the best part of all was what the city’s Republican Party chairman Joe DeFelice had to say about the ordeal:

“If the image of an upper-middle-class city attorney clad in a blazer and sipping wine while vandalizing an upscale grocery store with an anti-Trump message strikes you as perhaps the most bourgeois sight imaginable, that’s because it is.

“Did the extra glass of Shiraz give him some sort of delusional confidence that there are no cameras on Germantown Avenue? The taxpayers should be entrusting exactly none of our faith into this man. He should be fired from our city’s Law Department immediately.”

I LOVE that!
