VIDEO: Remember the times the media LOL’d when Trump announced his bid for the presidency? January 19, 2017

It was June 16, 2015, and everybody in the mainstream media was having a good laugh. Donald Trump had just announced his presidential campaign and no one could take it seriously.

To them, it was “a joke,” a “carnival show,” with its ringleader a “fool.” Trump had no chance to win the White House, they said. They openly laughed on air and mocked the billionaire reality TV star for daring to enter the race.

Guest host on MSNBC Mike Barnicle proclaimed just 24 hours after Trump’s announcement, “Can we stipulate for the purposes of this conversation that Donald Trump will never be President of the United States?”

CNN’s Marc Lamont Hill opined, “Of course he’s not going to win.” S.E. Cupp said she was “howling, HOWLING” at Trump’s “rambling mess of a speech” as he announced his bid.

MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell asked one of her guests, “Do you have any doubt that this is anything more than a carnival show?”

And on and on it went.

Well, the jokes on them because on Friday, the “carnival show” heads to D.C. To officially announce Donald Trump as president. And so in preparation for tomorrow’s inauguration,  sit back, relax, get ready to soak up all the liberal tears and watch the media eat crow in this compilation from Newsbusters:
