NRA destroys the New York Time’s Oscar ad in one brutal commercial February 27, 2017

If you were watching the Oscar’s Sunday night, you saw so many liberal advertisements, punctuated with actual commercial breaks.  (Ha!)  One commercial for the New York Times really took the cake:

Apparently, this was the first commercial the New York Times has aired in seven years.  Guess times are tough there for the Grey Lady.  Anyway, the NRA struck back at this ridiculous ad with one of their own… and it is BRUTAL.

The text of the NRA ad — which was patterned on the NYT ad — read:

The New York Times placed an ad during the Oscars to tell us that the truth is more important now. But why now? The truth is that the truth didn’t matter to The New York Times then as much as now—because as long as liberals were “progressing,” the truth was depressing. America has stopped looking to The New York Times for the truth, now more than ever. The times are burning and the media elites have been caught holding the match.

Which is absolutely the right question to be asking.  Why NOW, New York Times?  Why not the past eight years?

President Obama had egregious assaults on liberty, and you guys sat around and yawned.  Worse, you sat around and high-fived the President.  You forsook your sacred duty to keep an eye out on the government.  You squandered it by refusing to look honestly at President Obama because you were on the same side of the political aisle.

Well, the NRA’s not going to let you get away with it.
