    Father, Do you know where that photo was taken? Seeing it brought back memories of a trip we made when I was studying Anglo-Saxon English at university. Our tutor took us to a place called Ruthwell where they have a cross similar to that one inside a church. We also saw an ancient Yew tree that – according to legend – has a connection to Pontius Pilate, though I can’t remember the detail. d.

    I’m fairly certain that it is the Cross of Scripture from Clanmacnoise. I’ve been wearing a similar cross for several years. Blessings. O’Madaidhin.
