One of my joys at the moment is teaching the RCIA course at St Mary’s Greenville. We have an excellent team who organize all the paperwork, the small groups, the schedule etc. We have forty catechumens, a good number of which come from a Baptist/Evangelical background, including a few from the world of Bob Jones University–which is just two miles from St Mary’s.

I’ve been pondering a good logo for RCIA and wonder if the old RCA materials couldn’t be adapted. I’m sure someone out there is a good graphic designer who could add the letter ‘I’ to this classy old RCA logo. It works doesn’t it? The lightning bolt being a smooth image for God’s grace in the process. For that matter, the old RCA Victor image is nice too, as a reminder of what goes on in RCIA. After all the title of the painting, if you remember is…’His Master’s Voice.’

Perhaps you could use the dog and the gramaphone with the caption, “If today you hear His voice…”
