I’m off tomorrow to St John’s Edmond, near Oklahoma City. I’ll be speaking at their Catholic outreach conference on Saturday morning.

I’ll be relating my conversion story, then speaking on the seven pairs of criteria that authenticate Catholic authority before discussing apostolic succession. Come on over if you’re in the area.
They’ll be taping the talks, so I’ll make them available online if I can.
I’m aware of how much more I could be doing through podcasts, CDs of my talks and promoting the work God has given me. I could use a voluntary, hard working assistant…
Anyway, I hope Saturday will be a beautiful morning, and that the corn is still as high as an elephant’s eye.

Come on, Father, the corn will only be knee-high by the fourth of July…

Father, we don’t have corn, we have wheat…and flooded creeks at the moment…I hope St. John’s isn’t taking on water, actually!

Oh, Father, I wish I had known you were coming! We would have made plans for St John’s.Do you have time to meet fellow Catholic bloggers? If so, we’d love to get together for dinner.

I fly in Friday evening and fly out Saturday afternoon. Not much time, but I’d be glad to meet you at St John’s and maybe have lunch.
