I’ll Ask ‘er

Here’s a nice photo gallery of Sarah and Todd Palin arriving back in Alaska.

Reminds me of an old joke,
“Your wife ever been to Fairbanks?”
“You mean you don’t know?”

All I can say is, “You go girl”. Leave it to a mom to change the world.

I gotta tell you, Father… I think we’re in love with the same girl. I won’t tell your wife if you don’t tell mine.

I think I hae just about made up my mind. I thought Palin did horribly with Gibson and that was a fairly scripted interview. I think Matt Damon is going to get the credit for putting me over the top. I am not trusting some lady with nuclear codes who thinks the dinosaurs helped build the pyramids 3000 years ago. And McCain pickin an untested, unheard of candidate because she has a cool narative and a good pro-life following makes me seriously question is septaginarian judgement. Sorry, he could’ve picked Christina Todd Whitman, or Romney, or Alan Keyes, or just about anyone. But he picked a C student from Alaska that no one has ever heard of. That is simply unwise.Overturning Roe v. Wade is important but other stuff is too. A litmus-test judge probably won’t be confirmed in this climate anyway. Sorry, we lifers are going to have to site this one out, and it is largely due to Palin. You may not agree with me about Palin, but you may as well accept the fact that this choice has caused me to vote for a democrat for the first time in my life. The choice was divisive, and now it has divided.

marcus – you are going to cooperate with evil in voting the democrat ticket. If you are Catholic, you may wish to re-read the Catechism of the Catholic Church. If you are not Catholic, I still encourage you to read CCC.Truly, ask yourself – how many men or women are “qualified” to be president of the United States of America? I cannot think of one, except those who can pass the test of age, nationality and money to get through the race.I hope that you will consider changing your mind so as not to cooperate with evil by voting the democrat ticket. It may be better not to vote for the presidential race and simply vote for your local races.I will pray for your discernment.

Chimakuni,McCain’s enthusiasm for the Iraq war is contradicted by the catechism’s rules for just war. Benedict XVI and John Paul II have condemned it. And McCain and the Republicans stand for unabashed free trade with the abortion gulag of China. You are deluding yourself if you think there is a ‘catholic’ choice in this race. And I believe Palin is an apostate and schismatic according to canon law because she was past the age of reason and confirmed in the faith when she converted to whatever weird evangelical bible-thumping sect she’s in now. Assemblies of God I think.Palin is no catholic poster child. There isn’t one in this race and to pretend there is one is just silly.
