Things I Learned On The Internet This Week: Last Weekend of July Round-Up

Here we go, folks, this is my semi-regular round-up of fun information you need this week. First of all, stop the presses: Lisa Frank is releasing a clothing line for adults.  Drink it in in all its beauty; I’ll wait here. Check out those leggings. Check out that non-Mary-modest crop top you’d have to wear over another shirt.

Finally, I have a chance to be as cool as I wasn’t in the first grade. I will wear Lisa Frank clothing with my hair in a mile-high teased top-of-the-head ponytail, high-top sneakers and push-down socks. I will paint my nails with glitter. I will carry a Jansport denim backpack at all times, and that backpack will have a plastic pencil case full of whimsical erasers in it. I will call up that mean little girl named Alyssa who used to push me during music class, that nasty little princess with the top-of-the-head-ponytail three inches higher than anybody else’s, the girl who always had the cute erasers, and I will LAUGH at her.

I want to re-live all of the 90s now. Lisa Frank, erasers, Beanie Babies, mom jeans, dial-up, chain mail. And speaking of chainmail…
