Some People Put A Microphone In My Face. You Won’t Believe What Happened NEXT!!!

“The jawbone of an ass is just as dangerous a weapon today as it used to be.”

OK, so you probably will believe what happened next, because you’ve seen microphones and faces (and click-bait titles) before. And you’ve seen what happens once I start talking about movies, which is exactly what these folks asked me to do. (“Dark movies,” specifically, and why I watch them.)

It was a new experience for me, but one that I enjoyed a great deal. The audience was fantastic, and it was a great opportunity for me as well, because it allowed(forced?) me to flesh out some of the things I’ve been thinking about ever since I first started writing for Patheos nearly five years ago. (Even before that, actually, way back when InsideCatholic was still around).

The sound quality’s not too bad  (though the odd little noise every time I tap the podium is a bit distracting to my OCD self, and the page-turns are not particularly great). Oh, and my voice sounds shockingly high to me. But overall, I’m pretty pleased with it. (A special “Thanks!” to Gallup’s Knights of Columbus chapter for hosting me.)
