“We Are Atheism” Needs Your Help!

We Are Atheism is a great campaign which seeks “to provide a platform for atheists around the globe to see that they are not alone”. Participants share a short video about themselves and their atheism and, in the process, dismantle dangerous stereotypes about us and show the world that atheists are everywhere, in every community. Here’s my video:

Adam Brown, on of the co-founders of the project, wrote to me recently asking for support – only through donations from people like you can the project continue! Please read his request below and donate if you can!

We have never asked our fans for help… until now. We are about to launch Step #2 in the WeAreAtheism.com website, which includes:

1) A website in South America in Spanish, to reach a whole new audience of in-the-closet atheists.

2) Going to more conventions to gather stories from atheists just like you.

3) Building our new “Atheist Closet” – a portable booth that looks like a closet, to take to events and record people’s stories for the website… and give them a chance to “come out of the closet”.

4) Getting our 501c3 status.

You can help with ANY amount of money. We can’t afford to keep doing this with only our own money. We need your help. http://www.weareatheism.com/donate/
