Ms. Newmark over at Betsy’s Place has posted this article from the WaPo which asks the very necessary question: Is High School as Bad as All That. A good article talking about the College-bound vs Non-College-bound divide in high schools and how poorly the non-college bound kids are served.
I posted an essay touching on this in February, and I’m glad to see the subject come up, again. It’s a discussion that’s long-overdue: What is high-school doing to prepare ALL of our kids to be wage-earners who have a share and a stake in the American Dream?
