Accepting this tasty stollen…

…on your behalf!

The good Dominican Nuns of Summit, NJ – whose soaps, lotions, balms and notions you folks apparently purchased in mass quantities to give as Christmas gifts – have sent a delicious Christmas stollen to me by way of saying “thank you” for the blog exposure, and your subsequent orders.

I gratefully, humbly accept the stollen on your behalf. It arrived this morning just as we were pouring our Mystic Monk Coffee, and the two monastic products went together very well, indeed. My insides feel blessed!

If you’d like to see a slideshow of some of the work that went into the stollen back, it is here.

The sisters are posting their O Antiphons, too. O Adonai and O Radix Jesse so far.

I made your delicious baked oatmeal this morning for three people on my Christmas gift list. I thank you, and they will bless you when they taste it! Oh, and I made fudge…did I tell you that I am tired, tired, tired of making fudge, and have tons more to do, because several friends (we’re very good friends!) have told me not to send Christmas boxes if there is no fudge in there.

This post alone made me feel good. Such lovely women. Such lovely words from you. Thank you!
