Okay, I had said Friday would be for “Faith” stories, and then wrote about the Olympics and the Tsunami. I’m sorry.
But I did say “breaking news” would get looked at!
I’m done with that for the day, though, because these stories are so much better, and more meaningful, than the rest of the day’s headlines:
Check out this great story of some of our young football players, and how faith plays such a strong role in their lives.
And then this: “If you kill me, I’ll go to heaven…”; a 92 year old woman brings her would-be attacker to tears.
Another great video: Church History in 4 minutes
A great Dog Story you know I love a great dog story!
Aw, here’s another one!
The Pope gently pushing Obama on abortion and conscience-clauses. And he has an Italian story.
The Martyrdom of Miguel Pro. Always has fascinated me.
Winning the right to pray

“Viva Christo Rey!” So inspiring! I think that we should all ask Miguel Pro to intercede with God for the conversion of our president.
Here’s one for you.
I’ve long believed that so-called “living” wills are often little more than suicide notes.
Coroner: Doctors Had to Let Woman Die
Doctors who let a 26-year-old woman die after she swallowed antifreeze acted within the law, a coroner has ruled. Kerrie Wooltorton, of Norwich in eastern England, is believed to be the first person to use a living will to commit suicide, The Guardian newspaper reported Thursday. . . .
It is so very sad. Brought to us courtesy of modern society’s twisted idea of “compassion” — rather than actually provide loving care, rather than actually helping, simply wash your hands and thereby make yourself complicit in her death by doing nothing.
Pray for her.
“Obama plans to make health reform ‘abortion neutral’” …How untrue.
Healthcare cartoon/more dogs
I am a little upset the natural disaster that is Samoa took a back seat to the man-caused disaster in Copenhagen. instead of dealing with Samoa (an American Territory), Obama flees to Denmark. I submit that Samoa is the new Katrina.
Obama obviously doesn’t like Pacific islanders.
