And only the Obama Administration would be allowed to get away with saying that.

A Bush, or even a Clinton Administration would be raked over the coals and roundly mocked.

    We are not doomed. Our nation and our church have survived worse scoundrels than President Barak Obama. I am confident that both Mother Church and our nation will survive in spite of the best efforts of its members and its leaders.
