You know what is really sad? You read the names of the 10 most corrupt politicians in the United States (none will surprise you) and realize how easy it would be to create a list of 25 -or 50- corrupt politicos, and still know you haven’t begun to scratch the surface.
And as with the Clinton administration, members of the Obama administration are beginning to marry into the media.
So, we’ll certainly continue to get the very best investigative journalism available, on the Most Ethical Congress and White House Evah, and the company continues to rest in the very best of hands.

Call me old fashioned, but I have always wondered why nobody in Washington ever takes the option exercised by Claude Rains in “Mr. Smith Goes To Washington”, a loaded revolver in the cloakroom.
Then again, I never understand why there are so few canings on the Senate floor anymore…
Very good commentary – but as a Canadian, I am very, very happy with the job our Queen and her representative, the Governor General is doing for Canada. The Queen has had approx. 10-12 Prime Ministers since her coronation in 1952. She reads all the legislation not only for the UK but for Canada, and Australia as well.
She is definitely not a lightweight and because of her long tenure in The Job, has a strong knowledge of history and has made many good recommendations to improve legislation – you might be thinking of King Farouk of Egypt back in the 1950′s who definitely was a featherweight intellectually although a physical fattie!
[I mean no disrespect to Elizabeth II, who I think is a very fine lady and a substantial queen. She and Pope Benedict are the last leaders of the twentieth century to stride the world stage, and both of them, though diminutive, are extreme "heavyweights." -admin]
