Great post! I love the happiness and enthusiasm in these men and it so effectively refutes the idea that serving God is onerous and only done by the dour.
They do seem happy and I am happy to have seen that video.
At church we had a visiting priest who told of how his family converted from West Virginia “hard shell” Southern Baptist to Roman Catholic (and then he became a priest to boot). It was an interesting story of evalgelicalism. Basically it was Catholic people being nice to them. Just nice and friendly and living their faith.
He was pleasantly surprised when my wife told him afterward how her sister’s inlaws (the entire family) all converted from Church of Christ to R.C. too. And in Huntington, W.V. to boot.
May God protect them! I’m sniffling along with such joy as I watch these young, beautiful, vital men give themselves to me the Church. Thank you. Thank you for posting these videos!
A young man from our parish was ordained this past Saturday and said his first Mass on Sunday June 27. Diocese of Providence. It was a great occasion!
The talk of JOY and the sign of it in their faces reminds me so much of our wonderful priest here in Bisbee, Arizona. Thank you so much for these videos.
